[Game lore] Verbannte and the central border.

Today is sunday, 11th of september 1994. Another day passes. Another day in this cruel hellhole we have to survive in. The Verbannte have it even worse though, theyre guarding the border at the west near the city center, i couldnt imagine what that even looks like. How big or long are the walls? Nobody here knows or has even ventured to the city center. I thought about seeing the wall myself but ive got enough problems here to worry about already. The Eight keep harrassing us as well, i wouldnt even survive outside the settlement, let alone in the center. I heard they even had a huge underground tunnel network filled with god knows what kinds of beasts scattered in it, as if the surface wasnt already dangerous enough. You know, maybe it isnt that bad here. I may not have family or enough food to eat every day but its better than being ripped apart by whatever lives in the tunnels or in the center or past the gate. Yeah i think ill stick around a little longer, im in no rush to go adventuring just yet, i only settled here a few months ago, i dont need another adventure. Maybe ill venture west if the winter cold is actually as bad as they say it is, it isnt too cold just yet, my bunker keeps me warm from the spring nights for now.
